Dear ,

To mobilize our clients’ missions, we’ll go anywhere! In Q1, our team has been advocating on the Hill, advancing health literacy in Rockford, IL, staffing conferences in Puerto Rico and New Orleans, setting up booths in Frederick, MD, and pitching new business in D.C. And whether we’re on the go or hunkered down in the office, CURA thrives on collaboration. And so do our clients!

With a constantly evolving communications and advocacy landscape, I focus most of my time on building the right teams to optimize our results. (For all my business owners and CEOs, you know how difficult building the right team can be.) I’m grateful CURA is experiencing a prolonged season of growth—and we’re proud to have added new positions and offerings for our clients. 2023 is off to a hot start (check out our awards list below!), and I feel confident in my team and our ability to deliver results.

Happy spring! 💐

We’ve been on a long hiring odyssey to find team members with the right combination of experience, drive and passion for transforming health care. The wait paid off with these strategic additions. More in our press release here!
And shout out to team members celebrating CURAversaries!
Cheers to Erin Berst (4 years), Michael Lisowski (3), Claire Grant (1) and Diana Pressey (1) for helping make CURA what it is today.

Last fall we launched Capitol Corner, an email series dedicated to updating you on important issues at the intersection of advocacy and communications. Our government relations team has previously worked in the House and Senate on both sides of the aisle, and we have four registered lobbyists who work seamlessly with our communications team to shape legislation and health policy. Capitol Corner spotlights our clients and the successful advocacy strategies we implement in support of the issues they care about. Interested in receiving our Capitol Corner emails? 2. Staffing the American College of Cardiology's scientific session, managing all press conferences and connecting reporters to cardiologists
  3. Launching the Family Connects program in partnership with Frederick Health to provide free nurse home visits for newborns and parents
