Hi friends,

Good news for coffee lovers ☕️! According to research from the American College of Cardiology (ACC), 2-3 cups of coffee a day lowers your heart disease risk and may help you live longer. I'm still waiting for a similar study to come out about Diet Coke... Jokes aside, it was really exciting to see this research and our client get featured on the TODAY show, and we're grateful for another year of supporting the ACC media relations team. To all of our clients navigating virtual, hybrid and in-person events (looking at you ACHD, HEAL Collaborative, IgAN Foundation, PKD Foundation and Rockford Ready), thank you for trusting us to support, run and strategize these events with you.

As we spring into Q2, we're already off to a healthy start with a growing client roster and a growing team—we've added six new talented team members since our last CURA newsletter and there's more to come! This update is packed with new clients, CURA news and CURA fun. Happy reading!

Cheers, 💐
Anne

P.S.—We're hiring!

We've had the honor of adding the following organizations to our roster of transformative clients and are especially pleased to grow our public health work within the Rockford, IL and Frederick, MD communities.
While we've been working on this citywide health literacy initiative in Rockford, IL, since last year, we recently launched the Rockford Ready website, helping us better reach residents with field-tested, culturally-appropriate health information and services to stop the spread of COVID-19 and improve health literacy.
Designed for humans and built for health care, Ripple Health Group is making waves in the health tech community, and we’re proud to support their mission of bringing physical, mental and social well-being to every person.
And lastly, we are pleased to support Frederick Health in the implementation of Frederick County Family Connects, a nurse in-home visitation program aimed at supporting mothers, infants and families. Website coming soon!

As a woman-owned business, CURA is committed to supporting women in all stages of their careers. In honor of Women's History Month in March, we collected gently used professional attire for Dress for Success DC, an organization dedicated to empowering women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, attire and development tools to help women thrive at work and in life.

Meet our newest additions to the team! They each bring unique strengths to the team, from public health and public affairs to event management expertise.
